Took Refuge in Tibetan Buddhism in 1988, and lived in Dharamsala, India, for 4 years. Translated (and found a publisher for) her Lama's book The Six Perfections. Practiced Zen Buddhism in different places until meeting Roshi Egyoku at ZCLA in 2014. Dedicated the last 10 years to the study and practice of Zen, as Roshi Egyoku's disciple. Translated (and found a publisher for) the book Householder Koans. Has been studying and teaching Ecodharma since 2020, taking a few trainings with Sensei Kritee Kanko. Translated (and found a publisher for) the book Ecodharma. Has given Jukai to eleven students so far, and is presently (2025) leading a group through the Ecosattva Training offered by One Earth Sangha.
