Lost Coin Zen
About
Originally from rural PA, I went to Georgetown Law and somehow ended up in practicing Family Law in Salt Lake City Utah. I wandered into Kanzeon Zen Center in February 2004 and began to practice with Genpo Roshi and Doen Roshi. When Doen Roshi left Kanzeon and started Lost Coin Zen on February 14, 2006, I went with him. I continue to have a law firm and act as a mediator but I no longer litigate (thank the heavens). In 2022, Doen Roshi installed me as Vice-Abbot of Lost Coin Zen. I have three cats, a husband, and a very emo pre-teen. I study contemporary Mandarin, Classical Chinese, and Latin, and I love to read and lift weights but not usually at the same time.
