About The White Plum Asanga

The White Plum Asanga is an affinity organization of peers in the lineage of Hakuyu Taizan Maezumi, Roshi. The Asanga provides its members opportunities for amicable association, the sharing of common experiences, and support for one another through annual meetings, and various online platforms, programs and trainings.

Anyone with dharma transmission in Maezumi Roshi’s lineage is eligible to join the Asanga. 

Founded informally in 1979 and then later incorporated in 1995, the White Plum Asanga now includes over 200 teachers throughout the world.
